Denise Snyder, Founder of the End of Life Center
Certified End-of-Life Doula Trainer / Licensed Chaplain
Former owner of an Executive Search Firm in Orange County, CA, Denise Snyder left the corporate world to care for her aging parents. She learned the value of working with Hospice and an End-of-Life Doula which brought a higher level of care to her declining parents and a welcomed comfort to the family. Through this intimate process Denise decided to dedicate the rest of her life to supporting individuals and their families through grief and dying. She learned from the pioneer of the Doula movement to become a Certified End-of-Life Doula Trainer. The End of Life Center provides exceptional education and support on issues related to death and bereavement.
WHAT IS A DOULA?
Sacred Service with Compassion and Dignity.
An End-of-Life Doula is available to assist a dying individual by providing physical,
emotional, psychological, and even spiritual support. A Doula assists in a wide range of
services that can vary greatly and provides a hands-on, non-medical approach to the
natural process of dying. The Doula empowers people to live and die exactly as they
wish, with as much comfort and choice as possible.
